I learned how to bead from my classy grandmother,

who collected broken jewelry pieces and buttons into a large metal tin the size of a movie reel.

The fresh trend

Kandi beadz idea originated at an electronic music festival few years ago.

There was a huge number of people wearing beaded bracelets up to their elbows! They were sharing and trading them with each other and having an amazing time.  What an awesome conversation piece, magic: better than a cigarette or drugs.

But non of their  bracelets  lit up!

After doing some research our team came up with a new product - LED, black light reflective bracelets that light up! A fun look, also keeps one safe at night festivals, by making you visible.

In childhood my favorite pass time was making new creations.  Now, my school age son Danny has been helping me with ideas &  new patterns of color, also researching  fresh, young trends. KANDI BEADZ® is based in Industry City, Brooklyn, NY., and we aim to foster connections between young people in the dance community, to create friendships with the ultimate purpose of building a stronger, drug-free society.

This accessory always creates a lot of excitement, it can figuratively light up a room... a brilliant conversation piece - it will add  color and shine  to any outfit.

We donate part of the proceeds to foundations that send a strong and positive message of friendship, love and respect, such as the Happy Hippies Foundation (which helps young people find their way off living on the sidewalk).
